In my last blog I was talking about the history of bathrooms and that bathrooms in North
Wales were not commonplace until the Victorian era. Before then people did have
access to bath houses, which were in effect public bathrooms, but every town in
North Wales did not have these until the early 20

Bathrooms in North Wales didn’t really catch on until the well to do
Victorians started to install indoor plumbing. They would put in decorative wash
stands and wash basins that resembled today’s bathroom sink but there wasn’t
